Bob Sinclar featuring Sugarhill Gang - Lala Song

I don’t normally like Bob Sinclar records, or at least I haven’t up until now, so this single has really taken me by surprise even if it did have the excellent Sugarhill Gang on board.

The record is taken from Sinclar’s forthcoming album Born In 69’ and the signs look positive based on this delightful slice of electro funk meets hip-hop.

Sinclar lays the foundation with a good track but it’s the rap that steals the show as the Sugarhill Gang hit out at today’s hip hop stars who are only in it for the money rather than doing it from the heart.

The only negative really is the Tocadisco Remix, they don’t really do enough with the track for me particularly when you consider the tools they had to work with.
