Young Guns - Mirrors (EP)
I don’t think Young Guns will be particularly phased by a bad review from me (why should they be really?) as things seem to be heading in the right direction for the band. They’ve played shows with Funeral For A Friend, The Answer and We Are The Ocean and also have a huge tour lined up for the rest of 2009.
All this before they’ve even released a record.
That though has recently been rectified with the Mirrors EP released through Live Forever Records. Opening track Daughter Of The Sea is disapppointing, a standard emo-rock track that sounds like so many other bands around at the moment.
The Weight Of The World is a better attempt from them but they regress back to their standard fare on There Will Be Rain and In The Night.
