Oh Laura - Release Me
Oh Laura don’t seem to have made the breakthrough as far as huge sales and hit records go, but that is fairly inconsequential as I love their debut album A Song Inside My Head A Demon In My Bed, it’s another one of those finely crafted Scandinavian albums.
The Swedes have just set Release Me free (see what I did there!) as a single in it’s own right, a song that got a lot of exposure after being used in an advert. Again I can’t see it giving them commercial success, but don’t worry about that, instead just bask in the glory of knowing that you get there before most and enjoy it for what it is, a warm pop song with a rich vocal.
