Beth Rowley - Sweet Hours

Beth Rowley is a lady i’ve admired for a while now…and she’s got a great voice too! Only joking (partly) but she is someone that i’ve championed on this site, so it’s pleasing to see the success she’s had with her album Little Dreamer.

While the singles continue not to sell they do of course keep boosting the sales of the album and Sweet Hours the latest track to plucked from the album should answer a few critics. Proving she has more in her locker than just wonderful cover versions she has co-written this delightfully smokey-blues track that also hints at gospel.

She’s doing a short tour later on in the year, including what should be a fantastic gig at the brilliant City Varieties in Leeds.
