Try as I might, I find it difficult to be anything other than gushing about Alex Cornish, love the music, the lyrics, the orchestration, in fact everything I’ve heard him do has been brilliant. I first heard his music on a promo back in July 2007, then the album Until The Traffic Stops, which just knocked me out. This track was first released in September 2007.For me it is easily the strongest number on the album, in fact it was my favourite on the album.

In the short time he’s been around Alex Cornish has gathered many fans in high places receiving recognition from Tom Robinson who said “absolute quality”, Dermot O’Leary said it was “Genius” and the list goes on, however the wider market seems to have missed him which is a great shame.

Perhaps now is the right time to re-release this single, its haunting orchestration and beautiful lyrics never fail to impress me, I try whenever possible to make family and friends listen in the hope they hear what I hear and fall in love with the music of Alex Cornish.

If exceptional talent were enough to guarantee a hit record this single will sell millions, whatever happens I will I am sure remain a devoted fan of Alex Cornish’s music.
